Fundão MEDEIA it's a finalist on the Manuel António da Mota Award

The Fundão MEDEIA Project is one of the finalists for the “Manuel António da Mota Award”, which annually distinguishes institutions that stand out in the development of projects dedicated to the fight against poverty, integration of migrants, territorial cohesion, health, education, employment, innovation, transition digital and environment.

The Fundão MEDEIA Project emerged in 2021, and created the Municipal Network of Intercultural Mediators. This network aims to develop activities at a local level that promote the improvement of the quality of life and integration of communities of foreign citizens, intercultural coexistence between them and the community in general and the improvement of institutional relations, with a view to promoting social cohesion in the Municipality of Fundão.

On November 24, 2024, the winner of the prize will be announced.
