Fundão Acolhe Project distinguished with INATEL Merit Award

Inatel Foundation distinguished the Municipality of Fundão with the INATEL Merit Award in Social Intervention and Sustainability, in the Human Rights and Solidarity category, for the “Fundão Acolhe” project.

This distinction was presented on January 21, 2025, at the Teatro da Trindade, in Lisbon, during the INATEL Social Gala, with the distinction being presented by the Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, Maria do Rosário Ramalho, and by the President from the INATEL Foundation, José Manuel Soares.

This tribute highlights the “dedication, action and capacity for social mobilization to defend human rights and the principles of social solidarity, with public relevance”.

The INATEL Foundation is an organization with deep concerns for humanism and strong roots in the social and solidarity economy, which promotes and carries out activities in the areas of popular culture, amateur sports and social tourism that effectively contribute to the personal development of each individual and to the integration of all citizens.

The INATEL Social Gala is organized with the main objective of highlighting the merit of people and organizations that develop work of enormous importance in the field of Sustainable Development, highlighting projects of inestimable value for this development, in issues such as the preservation of cultural heritage, Social Economy at the service of the integration of people and territories, active and healthy aging, citizenship, solidarity and social inclusion.
