Release of the 6th Episode of the Podcast “Conversas a Propósito”

The sixth episode of the podcast “Conversas a Propósito” is now available. This 10-episode series, with 10 minutes each, addresses essential topics such as health, education, employment, culture and, above all, shares real testimonies from migrants and refugees.

The sixth episode, divided into three parts, highlights the role of the local community and associations in the integration of migrants. In addition to resources and information, these networks also provide human support and a true sense of belonging which can be – or not – vital in this process.

The three speakers featured are:

Tatiana Fuentes, Vice-President of the Associação de Apoio Brazuca e Amigos (AABA);

Marco Gabriel, coordinator of Beira Serra – Associação de Desenvolvimento;

Jaspreet Singh, originally from northern India and resident in Fundão, who shares his experience.

The “Conversas a Propósito” podcast is produced by the Municipality of Fundão in partnership with Rádio Cova da Beira and Incubadora de Música, within the scope of the WELDI – URBACT project, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, which promotes human rights and the right to the city for all residents, regardless of nationality or residence status.
