Lançamento do 5º episódio do Podcast “Conversas a Propósito”


The fifth episode of the podcast “Conversas a Propósito” ("Conversations with a pourpose") is now live. A series of 10 episodes of 10 minutes each that addresses essential topics such as health, education, employment, culture and, above all, shares real testimonies from migrants and refugees. The fifth episode, divided into three parts, is dedicated to the role of Fundão’s cultural mediators in welcoming and integrating those who arrive. In addition to the interview with three mediators, this episode features testimonies from migrants who benefit from their work. The three mediators involved are:

  • Ranju Mall, Cultural Mediator of the Municipality of Fundão for communities of Southwest Asia;

  • Vanessa Nhaga, Cultural Mediator of the Municipality of Fundão for international students;

  • Khatuna Sanderson, Cultural Mediator of the Municipality of Fundão for EU and Ukrainian refugees communities.

The testimonies are reported by:

  • Dax Mehta, Indian migrant living in Fundão;

  • Babitida Nhamru, Guinean migrant living in Fundão. 

The podcast “Conversas a Propósito”, from the municipality of Fundão in partnership with Rádio Cova da Beira and Incubadora de Música, is part of the WELDI – URBACT project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, which promotes human rights and the right to the city for all residents, regardless of their nationality or residence status.
