Launch of the 1st episode of the podcast “Conversas a Propósito”
The first episode of the podcast “Conversas a Propósito” ("Conversations with Purpose") is now live. A series of 10 episodes of 10 minutes that addresses essential topics such as health, education, employment, culture and, above all, shares real testimonies from migrants and refugees. The first episode, divided into four parts, is dedicated to education, and features four actors:
Vanessa Gil, coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Team for Support to Inclusive Education (EMAEI) at Fundão's School Group (AEF);
Nuno Fians, president of the Students' Association of the Fundão's School Group (AEF);
Shaista Momand, a young refugee living in Fundão and studying at the Fundão's School Group (AEF);
Sónia Martins, president of the Parents' Association of the Gardunha and Xisto's School Group (AEGX).
The podcast “Conversas a Propósito”, from the municipality of Fundão in partnership with Rádio Cova da Beira and Incubadora de Música, is part of the WELDI – URBACT project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, which promotes human rights and the right to city for all residents, regardless of their nationality or residency status.
