2nd Session of the II Cycle of Webinars on Portuguese Language Learning brings together 505 participants
The second session of the II Cycle of Webinars “Learning the Portuguese language in the context of welcoming and integrating migrants: Sharing Experiences and Good Practices” took place on October 30th, promoted by AIMA, within the scope of the Strategic Plan for Learning of Portuguese as a Foreign Language. The initiative included the participation of the Member of the AIMA Board of Directors responsible for Integration, Marta Feio, and brought together 505 participants from various public and private entities.
The moment of sharing included speeches by representatives of the Local Support Center for the Integration of Migrants (CLAIM) of the Municipality of Oeiras, José Tomaz de Almeida and Sónia Calheiros, the Vice-President and Councilor of the Municipality of Vila Viçosa, Tiago Salgueiro, and the Advisor and Consultant for the Municipality of Vila Viçosa, Artur Brito, the Continuous Training Advisor for the Portalegre School of Hotel and Tourism, Manuel Belo, and the Head of Migration and Reception Area for the Municipality of Fundão, Filipa Batista. The session was moderated by AIMA's Director of Portuguese Language Promotion Services (SPLPt), Isabel Cunha.
The meeting brought together participants from various public and private entities, such as municipalities, CLAIM, civil society organizations, associations of migrants and refugees, school groups and non-group schools, professional and higher education establishments, employment and professional training centers, entities promoting Qualifica Centers, training centers and language schools.
The II Cycle of Webinars is part of the Strategic Plan for Learning Portuguese as a Foreign Language, aiming to disseminate projects that promote the learning of the Portuguese language (in the context of formal and non-formal education), the sharing of experiences and good practices.
