A room transformed into an ideas' laboratory

On December 18th, on the occasion of International Migrants Day, the inauguration of the “Saberes D’aqui e D’acolá” space took place. This space located at the Fundão Migration Center results from the collaboration of this Center with the Matriz9G Project and aims to focus on the creation of a plan of activities that promote cultural diversity and encourage the integration of migrants, intercultural dialogue, cooperation, solidarity and that facilitates the awareness of the local community about embracing new locals.

This ideas' laboratory is based in a location rehabilitated with the help of volunteers (from residents of the Migration Center to members of the local community) which highlights the reason for this space. This place will be available to the entire community.
