Rock Pizza has a new location in Fundão. The facilities are now located in the heart of the town, at Praça do Município, in the same place where the Nacional café-restaurant operated for decades. The grand opening is scheduled for April 28th.
Rock Pizza, the brand Tiago Janeiro created nine years ago, has experienced remarkable success. Along the way, he opened restaurants in Viseu and Águeda, and in 2020, he received the Gazela Award, which recognises young companies with strong growth potential.
Rock Pizza, where it all began near the Court House in Fundão, will be closing its current location to move to a larger space in a prime location in town. Tiago explained, "I was searching for a larger space, and this opportunity presented itself amidst the pandemic. We decided to invest by acquiring these facilities." The young entrepreneur, who ventured from the Coast to the Interior to establish his brand, is now prepared to open two additional restaurants later this year, one of which in Covilhã.
