Launch of the Refugees Reception Guide

The first Guide for Reception and Integration of Refugees was launched this Monday, December 16, at Casino Fundanense. The document, which functions as a practical and strategic tool to support communities and technicians, is an initiative of AMURT – Social and Humanitarian Support Association, in collaboration with Ananda Marga Polónia and the Fundão Migration Center.

Launched as part of the celebrations of the International Day of Migration and developed within the scope of the “Action Plan for the Reception and Integration of Refugees”, this is a pioneering guide that gathers useful information for those who want to welcome and integrate refugees.

Practices that arise from the work and experience of the Fundão Migration Center, but also from the international association AMURT, which operates in the municipality of Covilhã, and Ananda Marga Poland, whose work is more focused on border reception.
